Grand Beach Update

We're super excited to announce that after working with Manitoba Parks, Wolf Ridge Trail is officially being designated as a multi-use trail to non-motorized traffic! This trail includes some of the sweet single track you may already be running in Grand Beach.

2WheelRevolution has volunteered to carry cost of grooming and maintenance of Wolf Ridge for the 2020-2021 winter season. As an organization, we have offered sweat equity as necessary as sometimes the trail may need to be “snowshoed down" prior to other grooming equipment being able to be used on the trails.

Keep your eyes out for appeals to pack the trail once the snow flies!

Want to load the 5.7km route to your watch if you're not familiar with the area? You can find it here.

Grand Beach Ski Trails

In more exciting Grand Beach trail news, the existing x-country ski trails in Grand Beach will be groomed with multiple lanes, including room for running, parallel to the skate ski and/or classic ski tracks.

Make sure you are practicing good trail etiquette on these shared-use trails by keeping all running, snowshoeing, biking, and dogs on shared use lanes ONLY; do not step on the ski tracks. If you sink more than 1 inch, wear snowshoes when running on these trails. Please observe trail designations and direction of travel.
