Manitoba trail system gets $7M enhancement boost from the province
Great news! $7 million has been earmarked to maintain and expand provincial trail systems.
According to the CBC article, a $1-million operating endowment fund will serve as ongoing operating funding for Trails Manitoba, a $4-million improvement endowment fund will support the creation of new trails and improvements to existing ones, and a $2-million strategic fund will support capital projects that advance recreational trail development in Winnipeg.
