Rider vs Runner

  • Souris Bend Wildlife Management Area Canada (map)

Race Directed by: Jeff Bond

Location: Souris Riverbend WMA

Distance: 25 miles

For only the third time in Canada, a Rider vs Runner race at the scenic Souris Riverbend Wildlife Management Area will be held in cooperation with an Endurance Riding Event.

Runners compete against horse riders over a 25-mile course with river crossings, steep climbs, and descents, with approximately 2,000 feet of gain/loss.

Test your skills against fellow outdoor enthusiasts in a thrilling race through the scenic trails of the wildlife area. Don't miss out on the opportunity to push your limits and see who will come out on top - riders or runners! Lace-up your shoes for an unforgettable day of competition and fun.

The cost is $54.58, and the proceeds go to the Equestrian Club, which maintains the trails at this location.

There is camping there or at Jeff’s place.
