Single Track Sunday in the Whiteshell

When: 10 am at the trailhead
Where: Bear Lake
Carpool Info: 8:15 am departure from Big Sky Run Co at 194 Taché Ave. Please arrive on time if you'd like to carpool.

The plan is to start with Bear Lake. Once we’re ALL back at the parking lot we’ll gauge interest about continuing onto Centennial Trail heading to the Hanson's Creek bridge.

Bear Lake is an out and back trail totalling about 6 km. Faster runners can run repeats of the trail while the party at the back runners complete the route.

The Centennial Trail to Hanson’s Creek is approximately 3.8 km, so an out and back is approximately 7.6 km.

Total kms will be from 6 to 14.5 km. Faster runners are welcome to do more if they’d like to run repeats on Bear Lake or continue past the bridge on Hanson’s Creek.

Both trails have a few more technical scrambles and are FUN FUN FUN!

This is a fun group run and no one will be left behind. We aspire to create and environment for all abilities. Ultimately you’re responsible for yourself on the trail and we’ll be there to cheer each other on.

Big Sky Run Co will be OPEN for people joining us for the run if you need to pick up some last minute snacks for the trail.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and effort, as we are planning this outing regardless of temperatures. Pack your own water and snacks for the trail.

Hot Tip: Have extra food, dry clothes and shoes for the ride home.
