Join us for a work party or Snowshoe Stomp
We’re planning a trail work day on February 17, 2024. More details will come based on weather and trail conditions in February.

We typically cover 10-12 km over 5-6 hours on the trail.
Activities can include sawing, lopping, and otherwise clearing deadfall and downed trees, sprucing up signage, picking up trash, and as winter approaches we may opt to snowshoe pack trails in lieu of other work. MATR has a limited number of snowshoes we can lend to members who’d like to join us to trail stomp if they don’t own their own.
Carpooling from Winnipeg will be arranged amongst those who RSVP by signing up. You must RSVP for this trail work event. Please complete this waiver if it’s your first time joining us for trail work in 2024 and email it to info@matr.ca before joining us.
