We’re super excited to be part of the TRED (Trail. Run. Explore. Dream) North American Tour of group runs this summer, sponsored by The North Face.

This is the FIRST in a series of 13 urban group runs in the summer of 2024. Each Wednesday between July 3 and September 25, we’ll host a weekly group run at Garbage Hill, where we can’t wait to share miles and smiles with you. We also have weekly prizes from The North Face to give away and some bonus draws with cool swag.

After the run, please join us for some social time to connect and chat with new and old friends over snacks and a cold drink. We’ll provide snacks and cold drinks for our kick-off run to share with you picnic-style. Please feel free to bring a snack to share, as well!

The run: Garbage Hill has something for everyone. We’ll play on the single-track, the sledding hill, the gravel path, and heck, we’ll even run on the road a bit. The idea behind picking Garbage Hill is that there is something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for some intense vert gains or you’re new to trails and hills, we can all run together-ish.

This is also a family-friendly run. Feel free to bring your partner, children or anyone else you’d think would enjoy a summer evening at the hill.

Each run is co-hosted by at least two MATR volunteers.

Our first run will be hosted by three run leaders: Adam, Cat, and Miriam, with Carrie on stand-by.
