This is a 7 km technical single-track loop shared with mountain bikers with about 103 m of elevation gain per lap. There are some very technical sections on this trail to test your footing along with some flowy granite slab and packed dirt. Trails at Falcon Ridge are well-signed and there are a number of other trails to enjoy as well if you want to explore other options while we’re out there. View or download the route (gpx) and save it to your run watch if you have a navigation function.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and effort.
Pack your own water/hydration and snacks for the trail. Bring $$ for beverages at the Owl Wing Cafe in the main Falcon Ridge lodge for afterwards (or while others run!). They have a beautiful second-story patio to enjoy if you’re hanging out while others run!
Hot Tip: Have a change of clothes and shoes for the ride home. Don’t be surprised if we jump into Falcon Lake at one of the cottage beaches on the way home!
This trail is maintained by the South Whiteshell Trail Association.
