We have our next group trail stomp happening this Friday, December 30 on Centennial Trail in the Whiteshell
We plan/hope to park in the Bear Lake Parking lot and access the Centennial Trail from there (trail access on the other side of the highway from the parking lot).

Start Time: 10:00 am from Bear Lake parking lot

Plan: ~ 4 hours of trail packing as time allows, hoping to cover ~10km of trail (at least). We plan to it to AT LEAST Hanson's Creek Bridge ('cause who doesn't love a winter photo opp?!) and further if time allows.

The group will be led by Miriam, who’s familiar with this section of the trail.

In an effort to minimize the number of vehicles travelling, we will be organizing a meetup point at the Tim Horton's at 646 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB at 8:00 am to carpool. Friends with vehicles with all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicles who are willing to drive are welcome. :)

We are planning this outing regardless of temperatures - dress for the weather (and effort) if you plan to join us. The outing will only be cancelled if inclement weather makes it unsafe to travel on highways on the day.

If you can join us, let us know. It's also okay to wait until close to the date to decide whether you can join us!
